About Me

My photo
Welcome to the online blog for traveler/writer/photographer Steven Barber. Come in. Relax. Take off your shoes and socks -- or any other article of clothing, this is the internet. Have a look around. I hope to intrigue, amuse, entertain, and maybe provoke you just a little. I love to find adventure. All I need is a change of clothes, my Nikon, an open mind and a strong cup of coffee.

MANHATTAN

There are tens of thousands of train stations around the world, ranging from the very opulent to the very humble.

And then there's Grand Central Terminal in New York.

Some stations are far busier. Some stations are far "grander".

But none is more iconic.

It appears in legendary films such as North by Northwest, The Cotton Club, Arthur and even featured as the setting for a dance number in Terry Gilliam's The Fisher King.

Grand Central Terminal, Manhattan, New York City.
