About Me

My photo
Welcome to the online blog for traveler/writer/photographer Steven Barber. Come in. Relax. Take off your shoes and socks -- or any other article of clothing, this is the internet. Have a look around. I hope to intrigue, amuse, entertain, and maybe provoke you just a little. I love to find adventure. All I need is a change of clothes, my Nikon, an open mind and a strong cup of coffee.

NICE, FRANCE - VIEUX NICE

Nice is often dismissed as simply the airport gateway to Monaco, or to Provence and the French Riviera, but it's much more than that. Vieux Nice, the old town district, is a vibrant and wonderful little playground of markets, restaurants and night life that give the area a special flair quite unlike many other spots in the world.

The best part is the exploration of the various alleys and passageways which give the adventurous traveler a lot to play in both during the day and after hours.
