There's nothing like a good old-fashioned patty melt and fries when you're on the road. My mother used to order them when I was a kid, and I never wanted one. I wanted a burger.
In college I had one for the first time when it was on the menu at the university's food service.
I still like burgers, but if given a choice the patty melt wins out every time.
