The grand train stations fell on hard times a few decades ago, with New York's Grand Central; DC's, Chicago's and LA's respective Union Stations all going through a transition phase. But with the advent of commuter rail systems all of them have re-energized and found new life.
This is the main hall for LA's station, famous for a variety of film appearances through the years.
