In Los Angeles, actually. At LA's famous Union Station. 

Even in the middle of everything, you can be alone.

This stunning but very old design work was in a back room above Los Angeles' Union Station. 

The room, used very infrequently from all appearances, served as the Green Room for a band performing on a balcony overlooking the station's event room, the former Fred Harvey Restaurant.

The grand train stations fell on hard times a few decades ago, with New York's Grand Central; DC's, Chicago's and LA's respective Union Stations all going through a transition phase. But with the advent of commuter rail systems all of them have re-energized and found new life.

This is the main hall for LA's station, famous for a variety of film appearances through the years.
