About Me

My photo
Welcome to the online blog for traveler/writer/photographer Steven Barber. Come in. Relax. Take off your shoes and socks -- or any other article of clothing, this is the internet. Have a look around. I hope to intrigue, amuse, entertain, and maybe provoke you just a little. I love to find adventure. All I need is a change of clothes, my Nikon, an open mind and a strong cup of coffee.

SQUAMISH, BRITISH COLUMBIA -- SHANNON FALLS

A spectacular "blink and you'll miss it" stopover on the Sea to Sky Highway between Vancouver and Whistler is Shannon Falls.

It's a tremendous and beautiful waterfall that cascades down hundreds of feet just a short distance from the highway.

Take the five minute walk back into the park and you'll stand, transfixed, at the base of the falls, with a refreshing mist blowing across your face.
